Student Success

Help prepare for success in school with a physician who is well versed.

I find working with high school and college-age students very compelling. Every student is different. Everyone has their own story, their own questions, their own hopes. You come to school as a person who’s growing and learning and reaching, and it’s so interesting for me to be a part of that process, to help you grow and learn and reach and discover who you are.

I can try to help students with all aspects their schooling. ADD/ADHD, anxiety, and depression can impair students' functioning in class and make it much harder for them to get good grades. Students feel like they are "spinning their wheels" and not getting anywhere. High school juniors and seniors are at an especially critical time in their development where professional input can have the most impact and help them stay on track.

I help with;

  • diagnosis
  • school accommodations
  • medications
  • study skills/therapy
  • assistance with developing healthy life skills

I was valedictorian of my class at Chatham Glenwood High School, one of the top 50 high schools in the state of Illinois. I was a National Merit Scholar Finalist, and earned an SAT score of 710 Verbal and 700 Math for a total of 1410. My ACT score was 31. I was a top IHSA tennis player for 3 years in high school in both singles and doubles tennis. I graduated summa cum laude at Drew University as well as the Most Valuable Player on the Drew tennis team.

I was able to balance the rigorous academics and sports needed to succeed in school. I had many other activities as well including Honors band, ballet, tap, jazz, track and field, and cross country as well. I can try to help you at any age!
